What Is Cardio Reduced-Exertion-Hi-Intensity-Training (REHIT):
There is clinical proof that we can achieve the same (or better) cardio benefits from a 45-minute workout in under 10 minutes, with just two to three 5 minute workouts if, it includes two or three hi intensity intervals (HIIT) of 20 or less seconds. This new service that we now offer is based on ‘reduced-exertion high-intensity interval training’ (REHIT). The research shows that very short super high-intensity intervals can achieve the same, if not higher, aerobic benefits as an hour of steady-state exercise. It’s all about the short, hard intensity bursts – making muscles burn through available fuel much faster than what traditional forms of aerobic exercise, such as swimming, cycling, or jogging, may produce.
